Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is a Snailhunter?
  • A:  We call ourselves Snailhunters because we go out and hunt snails!  We never intentionally harm the snails. We only take their pictures and observe!

Q: I’m a snailhunter too!  I have my own pictures I’d like to submit to your site.
  • A:  We’d love to hear from you and see your photos or artwork! send all submissions to lizartlizard@gmail.com. Be sure to title your email “Slugblog Photo Request” or something similar.

Q: I’ve got a class project or my own website that I’m working on.  Can I use your photos?
  • A:  Yes but we ask that you send us an email request first.  Use the CONTACT FORM on the CONTACT US page.  We would like to know where our photos are being used. We worked hard to take them.  Also please give credit to the photographer when using our photos.  NEVER claim them as your own or we’ll send the giant attack snails after you!  You can also send us a copyright release request for a non-watermarked, full resolution version of the photo(s) you would like to use.

Q: I’ve heard escargot is delicious, do you eat snails?
  • A:  Never have, and never will!  We only make pictures of them.

Q: I’ve got snails in my garden that keep eating my plants.  How can I get rid of them?
  • A:  We love snails too much to get rid of them!

Q: I don’t see my question listed in the FAQ.
  • A:  Please use the contact form and send us any questions that were not answered above. We’ll do our best to answer them!
